crowds of people. A visit to the revolution museum is a must. It is located in the dictator Batista's former

A visit to Trinidad city is highly recommended. This is, along with Havana, on the
UNESCO list of World Heritage. Paved streets and pastel-colored buildings from the colonial era, shows that the
town was a prosperous center of commerce. (Mainly with sugar and slaves!)
Town Viñales, in the beautiful and wonderful lush valley of the same name, is also
worth a visit. Here agriculture always stood in the center, and today the valley is under state protection as an
example of settlements from the colonial era.
The valley is like a garden of
Eden garden, with its fertile plains, in the bottom, limestone
formations "mogotes". Here the
growing tobacco, corn, coffee, fruit and vegetables, and over the valley sounds farm farmer shout to the
bulls, leaving plow out on the fields.
It is easy to get in touch with the local population, who are proud of their
beautiful valley, their farms, their tobacco crops and their
livestock. You should not doubt that you will be invited in for a cup of sweet, strong coffee or a little mango,
pineapple or other fruit. If you're lucky, you get a home-rolled cigar
too!
